About CKCC

Charlton Kings Cricket Club, on the outskirts of Cheltenham, is a friendly community cricket club which has been designated a focus club by the ECB to be a hub of the community network for cricket development, particularly for the benefit of children and young people. We have achieved Clubmark Accreditation by demonstrating that best practices are in place to develop and deliver high quality community cricket in a safe, effective and child-friendly way.

Charlton Kings senior section runs 4 men’s teams on a Saturday, 3 Midweek League teams and a ladies team. In 2015 our 1st XI were Gloucestershire Men’s County Trophy Winners and our Ladies 1st XI were runners-up in the Cotswold District Cricket Association's Women's League.

The club has a thriving youth section with boys' teams at U9, U11 (GYL County Champions 2015), U13 (GYL County Champions 2015), U15 (GYL County runners-up 2015), U17 (GYL Champions 2015) and U19, and girls' teams at U11 and U13. The club takes great pride in developing cricketers through its youth programme into the senior sides.

Support CKCC

Watch the Save Our Club video here.

We are so grateful for the tremendous support and encouragement we have received over the last few days, but remain acutely conscious of the precarious position the club currently finds itself in.

We have set up a PayPal account to facilitate the numerous generous offers of financial support we have received. We need all the help we can get.

Alternatively, if you would prefer to pay by cheque these will be gratefully received. Please make the cheque payable to Charlton Kings Cricket Club and post to:
